I pulled this Hilux out of the 2022 Northern Rivers flood water after the owner had given up on fixing her. I payed him what he was asking and started the very slow process of learning how to recondition a flooded car. The engine rebuild took me 6 months to do in between studying full time in film.
The process of learning the mechanical magic behind combustion engines sparked a keen interest in capturing automotive beauty.
This Hilux now serves as the worlds most reliable camera car.
